The Miss Perú Universo 2006 was held on April 19, 2006.

That year, only 24 candidates were competing for the national crown.

The chosen winner represented Peru at the Miss Universe 2006.

The Miss Earth Perú would enter in Miss Earth 2006.

Miss Universe 2008 in Vietnam

Miss Universe 2008, the 57th Miss Universe pageant, was held at the Crown Convention Center in the Diamond Bay Resort, Nha Trang, Vietnam on July 14, 2008. Dayana Mendoza, Miss Venezuela, was crowned Miss Universe 2008 by outgoing titleholder Riyo Mori of Japan.

Eighty contestants competed in the event which was broadcast and distributed globally via NBC in English and Telemundo in Spanish to TV outlets in more than 180 countries. The pageant was watched by a live audience of 7,500 and nearly a billion television viewers worldwide.

This is the first major USA-based television production to take place in Vietnam since the end of the Vietnam War. This is also the first time that the Miss Universe pageant was broadcast in 1080i High-definition. And this pageant was held in a contemporary Communist state for the first time.

The final presentation show was on July 8, the dress rehearsal on July 13 and the live telecast on July 14. Most activities were held successively in Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Sai Gon), Ha Noi, Da Nang, Hoi An, Ha Long and finally Nha Trang.

Jerry Springer, tabloid talk show host and host of NBC's America's Got Talent, and Melanie Brown, a.k.a. "Scary Spice", member of the UK pop group Spice Girls and host of TLC's The Singing Office, presented this year's competition. Lady Gaga, performed her hit single Just Dance for the first time in television.

Miss Natasha Suri

Natasha Suri is an Indian beauty pageant winner from Mumbai, India. She won the title of Miss India World in 2006 and placed in the top 10 at the Miss World pageant.She also won the spot of being one of the three most beautiful women in the Asian continent that year.

Miss Natasha Suri placed 2nd in the "Best Body" round at Miss World and made it to the top five in the "Talent" round. She also bagged the 'Miss beautiful smile' and 'Miss Personality' subtitles in the Miss India contest.

Suri is now known as an established and successful model in the Indian fashion Industry. She was discovered by Indian photographer Atul Kasbekar, who introduced her in the annual 'Canon calendar' as one of the most beautiful faces of 2006.

Miss Natasha Suri has singularly the most amazing waist in the country. Miss Natasha Suri was featured in Cosmopolitan magazine in the first year itself of her career and also debuted on the runway at the Rome Fashion Week in the same year.

Miss Natasha Suri has walked the ramp at India fashion weeks for 5 seasons.She has done over 600 ramp shows all across reportedly. Miss Natasha Suri hosted the show Cell Guru on NDTV.

Natasha also hosts a luxury n lifestyle show Velvette on Sahara.Miss Natasha Suri participated in the reality show 'The Big Switch' hosted by actress Genelia D'Souza where celebrities had to experience life in a slum in order to fulfill the dream of an assigned slumbuddy. She earned her bachelors degree in business management from Jai Hind College in Mumbai.

Miss Natasha Suri has two sisters who are also in Showbiz,Rupali Suri(Model/Anchor/Actress) who won the Gladrags MegaModel contest in 2006 and Soniya Suri is an actress In South India.She is half Punjabi and half Telugu by caste.

Suri has modelled for almost all Indian designers including Tarun Tahiliani, Rohit Bal, Sabyasachi, Suneet Varma, Satya Paul, Ritu Kumar, Hemant Trevedi, Neeta Lulla and many more. Miss Natasha Suri has appeared in print campaigns and endorsements for Ponds, Pepsodent, Audi, Tanishq, Diet Coke, Snickers, Pantaloons, Parachute, Gestures, etc.

She has adorned the covers of magazines like Femina, Elle, Top gear, Time out, Lifestyle n Luxury, Smart Photography, Brides Now, Avantegarde life, Fitness First, Models n Trends, Megamodelz, Time n Style and Maxim.

She was appointed Tourism Ambassador of Mauritius, receiving a lifetime honour of being 'Friends of Mauritius' by the Deputy Prime Minister of Mauritius.

Miss Natasha Suri has also been felicitated by the President of Sri Lanka in 2006 for her success as an ambassador of India.
She was awarded the "Pillar of Hindustani Society" award in 2008 for her achievements in the fashion industry.

Miss Natasha Suri was also presented the "Jai Hind Achievers Alumnus" trophy in 2008. Suri has adjudged several beauty contests including the 'Universal Teen pageant' succeeding Former Miss World Diana Haydon who adjudged it last year.

Miss Ushoshi Sengupta

Ushoshi Sengupta (born 30 July 1988) is an Indian beauty pageant contestant who won the title of I Am Ushoshi Sengupta Miss Universe India and represented India in Miss Universe 2010 held at Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, Nevada, on August 23.

Born in Kolkata, Sengupta is the daughter of an official in the Indian Air Force. Ushoshi Sengupta graduated from K.V.

Ballygunje, Kolkata, where she was a brilliant student, excelled at mathematics and was offered a scholarship to an engineering college, but decided to pursue liberal arts and a modeling profession.

Ushoshi Sengupta has a Bachelors Degree in Humanities from St. Xavier’s College, and worked as a model before becoming Miss Universe India.

Miss Universe 2010
As the official representative of her country to the 2010 Miss Universe pageant held in Las Vegas, Nevada on August 23, 2010, she participated as one of the 83 delegates who vied for the crown of eventual winner, Ximena Navarrete of Mexico.

Miss Universe Kosovo

Miss Universe Kosova (English: Miss Universe Kosovo) is a national beauty pageant that sends representatives from Kosovo to the Miss Universe pageant since 2008.

On April 4, 2008, Fadil Berisha, the Miss Universe Kosovo photographer of Miss Universe’s official photos, hosted the inaugural "Miss Universe Kosova" pageant where Zana Krasniqi was crowned and thus represented Kosovo in the Miss Universe pageant.

This was the first appearance in a Miss Universe Miss Universe Kosovo pageant for Miss Kosovo following the country's declaration of independence on February 17, 2008.

Krasniqi eventually placed as a Top 10 finalist at the Miss Universe Kosovo 2008 Miss Universe pageant. She is the first ever Kosovar woman to enter and place in the contest, ending up in 6th place among the top ten, just two tenths of a point from the Final 5.

The following year turned out to be another success for the Miss Universe Kosovo pageant: Marigona Dragusha, known as "Gona Dragusha", placed second runner-up to Miss Universe 2009 in the Bahamas.

Kosovo is the subject of a territorial dispute between the Republic of Serbia and the self-proclaimed Republic of Kosovo. Kosovo declared independence on 17 February 2008, while Serbia claims it as part of its own sovereign territory. Kosovo is recognised by 72 of the 192 UN member states.

Miss Indiana Teen USA

The Miss Indiana Teen USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Indiana in the Miss Teen USA pageant. This pageant is directed by Sanders and Associates.

Indiana had a slow start at Miss Teen USA, and did not place until 1991. That placement became the first of a four-year streak, which included three semi-finalist and one 1st runner-up placings.

Six Indiana teens have gone on to win the Miss Indiana USA crown, more than most other states. The most successful of these, Kelly Lloyd, who achieved Indiana's highest ever Miss Teen USA placement also went on to earn one of Miss Indiana USA's highest placements in 2002. Even more notable, Lloyd was a Triple Crown winner.
