Korea's Next Top Model

Korea's Next Top Model (shortened to KNTM) is a Korean reality television show in which a number of women compete for the title of Korea's Next Top Model and a chance to start their career in the modelling industry.

The prize also includes a feature in W Magazine Korea and a contract for SK-II.

As part of the Top Model franchise, it is based on the hit American TV show America's Next Top Model, and it shares the same format.

On 6 January 2010 it was announced that Korean channel Onstyle would begin production of a Korean version of the model search show.

Jang Yoon-Ju will helm the judging panel as the host of the show. The series will begin on 18 September 2010.

Beautiful Minka Kelly USA

Minka Dumont Kelly (born June 24, 1980) is an American actress. She starred in the NBC series Friday Night Lights as Lyla Garrity from 2006 to 2009.

Kelly was born in Los Angeles, California. She is the only child of former Aerosmith guitarist Rick Dufay and Maureen Kelly, an exotic dancer and single mother who often moved with her daughter to different communities before settling in Albuquerque, New Mexico, by the time Minka was in junior high school.

Minka Kelly is of Irish and French descent. At 19, after graduating from high school, Kelly returned to Los Angeles.

While on a test shoot for a modeling agency, she was approached by a former Playboy Playmate interested in managing her, and who placed Kelly as a receptionist at a surgeon's office who would provide Kelly breast augmentation in exchange for hours worked.

Minka Kelly ultimately chose against the procedure, leading to her being fired. However, the exposure to the medical field prompted her to attend school for a year to become a surgeon's assistant; afterward, she worked as a scrub tech.

Minka Kelly spent four years in that vocation while also auditioning as an actress before landing the new NBC television drama Friday Night Lights, based on the high school football movie of that name. In the interim, she had small roles in movies and shows, including the film State's Evidence, and a recurring guest role on the TV sitcom What I Like About You. Minka Kelly trained with the Pflugerville High School cheerleading squad. Kelly received praise for her acting on the series, with the The New York Times calling her performance "heartbreaking”. She shot a cameo for The Kingdom, alongside Jamie Foxx. Peter Berg, the creator and pilot director of Friday Night Lights, directed the film. Kelly was the lead actor on the The CW's 2009 pilot Body Politic which did not go to series. Kelly was a member of the ensemble quartet that starred in the CBS comedy pilot True Love, playing Kate, a Midwestern girl who falls in love with Henry at the top of the Empire State Building, but was replaced by Sarah Chalke. Kelly appeared with Alyson Hannigan, Jaime King, Emily Deschanel, and Katharine McPhee in a video slumber party featured on FunnyorDie.com to promote regular breast cancer screenings for the organization Stand Up 2 Cancer. In 2010, Kelly was named "Sexiest Woman Alive" in the annual Esquire magazine feature. Kelly dated Dylan Brazil in 2005. and had relationships with actors Chris Evans and Donald Faison.

Minka Kelly dated musician John Mayer from September 2007 to January 2008. As of 2008, she has been dating New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter.

Mimilanie Laurel Marquez-Lawyer

Mimilanie Laurel Marquez-Lawyer, popularly known as Melanie, (born July 16, 1964) is a Filipina television and movie actress, producer, personality development coach, author, and celebrity endorser.

Mimilanie Laurel Marquez-Lawyer is a former beauty queen and model, best remembered for winning the Miss International beauty pageant in Tokyo, Japan, for the year 1979, representing the Philippines.

Beauty Janina Miller San Miguel

Janina Miller San Miguel (born November 14, 1990) is a Filipino beauty queen who was crowned Binibining Pilipinas World at the Binibining Pilipinas 2008 beauty pageant. She gained notoriety for her performance in the pageant's question and answer portion, where she lost her composure and gave an unfocused and rambling response with a thick accent. A video of the incident has garnered millions of views on websites such as YouTube.

San Miguel resigned her title in September 2008, citing personal reasons including the death of her grandfather. The title was transferred to first runner up Danielle Castaño, who went on to represent the country at the Miss World 2008 pageant.

Miss Teen USA contests

The Miss Universe Organization, a New York–based partnership between NBC and Donald Trump, has run the contest since June 20, 2002.

The current president is Paula Shugart. The Organization sells television rights to the pageant in other countries,

and also produces the Miss USA and Miss Teen USA contests with the winner of Miss USA representing the USA in Miss Universe.

China's Next Top Model, Cycle 2

China's Next Top Model (CNTM, in China and ChiNTM in fansites) is a Chinese reality TV series, based on the international version and spin-off to the original, America's Next Top Model.

The show was produced by Chinese television subscription channel Sichuan Satellite TV (zh:四川衛視)

and it is filmed in Shanghai, the casting was held in selected cities of China Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu, and Guangzhou. It began airing in January 9 and airs at 10:50 PM, presented by Chinese Supermodel Li Ai.

In the end, Meng Yao, 21, from Harbin, China's Next Top Model, Cycle 2 won the competition.

Beauty and the Geek

Beauty and the Geek is a reality television series on The CW. It has been advertised as "The Ultimate Social Experiment" and is produced by Ashton Kutcher, Jason Goldberg and Nick Santora.

The premise of the show consists of a group of "Beauties" (young women who have relied primarily on their looks) and a group of "Geeks" (young men who have relied primarily on intellect rather than social aptitude or looks) who are paired up to compete as couples for a shared $250,000 and other prizes.

(For the fourth season, the producers modified the formula to include an extra team consisting of a male "beauty" and a female "geek". For the fifth season, the beauties and geeks competed against each other at first, and teams of one beauty and one geek were not selected until the end of episode three.) Each beauty lives together in a room with her geek during the course of the competition.

There are challenges shown each episode, one testing the beauties on a primarily academic subject, and another that has the geeks competing in a more popular/social realm. The winners of the challenges select two teams to compete against each other in a pure "quiz show" type question and answer session: the team with fewer correct answers gets eliminated.

By the end of the competition, many of the contestants say that they have learned much about interacting with people from a different social group (and positive lessons about the character of people from that group), positive things about themselves and their own character, and often something about human nature in general.

After the airing of season 5, production was put on a hiatus.

Zooey Deschanel

Zooey Claire Deschanel (pronounced /ˈzoʊ.iː ˌdeɪʃəˈnɛl/ ZOE-ee day-shə-NEL; born January 17, 1980) is an American actress, musician, model, and singer-songwriter. In 1999,

Deschanel made her film debut in Mumford, followed by her breakout role as young protagonist William Miller's troubled older sister Anita in Cameron Crowe's 2000 semi-autobiographical film Almost Famous.

Deschanel soon became known for her deadpan supporting roles in films such as Elf (2003), The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (2005) and Failure to Launch (2006).

She then began playing lead roles in films, including Yes Man (2008) and (500) Days of Summer (2009). For a few years starting in 2001, Deschanel performed in the jazz cabaret act If All the Stars Were Pretty Babies with fellow actress Samantha Shelton.

She plays keyboards, percussion, banjo and ukulele, and has sung in several of her films.

Deschanel teamed up with M. Ward to release their debut album Volume One (recorded with M. Ward under the moniker She & Him) which was released on March 18, 2008. The follow-up album Volume Two was released in the U.S. on March 23, 2010. She is married to Death Cab for Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard.

Beauty Michelle Trachtenberg

Michelle Christine Trachtenberg (born October 11, 1985) is an American television and film actress. She is known for her roles as Dawn Summers in the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and as Georgina Sparks in Gossip Girl. She has also appeared in the films Harriet the Spy, Ice Princess, EuroTripand 17 Again.

Trachtenberg made her first television appearance at the age of three, in a commercial for Wisk Detergent. She went on to feature in over 100 more commercials. Michelle Trachtenberg appeared in her first credited role as Nona F. Mecklenberg in The Adventures of Pete & Pete from 1994 until 1996. During the same period she played Lily Montgomery in All My Children, in which she first worked with future Buffy star Sarah Michelle Gellar.

Trachtenberg appeared on The CW hit show Gossip Girl as Georgina Sparks, who recently left rehab and brings back the dark past Serena van der Woodsen desperately wants to leave behind. She returned to the show for a multi-episode story arc towards the end of the second season. Trachtenberg appeared in the season 3 finale and the season 4 premiere. In 2009, Michelle Trachtenberg was a cast member on the NBC drama Mercy, the series however was not renewed for a second season.

Trachtenberg appeared in the 2009 film 17 Again alongside Zac Efron, Sterling Knight and Matthew Perry. She also had a small role in the comedy film Cop Out.

On October 21, 2010, It was announced that Trachtenberg will star in new series that is being developed for The CW to premiere in Fall 2011. In addition to starring in the series she also serve as executive producer along with Gossip Girl producers Stephanie Savage and Josh Schwartz.

Miss Sofia - Winter 2010

Several days ago 15 beauties participated in the contest Miss Sofia - Winter 2010 in beautiful youth toilets of boutique WOMAN MONRO with designer Milena Tsoncheva and the prom dresses of atelier SIMON with designer Gergana Simeonova. Delfina specially made swimsuits in red for the contest and they were combined with Christmas hats to remind the holiday approach.

Marchela Mincheva is the third runner-up, the second is Gergana Chakarova, the first runner-up is Ana Maria from Sofia. Miss Sofia - Winter became Lilia Teterekova. All they received a lot of presents.

 The show was led by the top models Gergana Doncheva, Jasmina Toshkova and Rayna Naldjieva.

This is the first from several contests - Miss Sofia - winter, spring, summer, autumn and the final contest will gather all winners and will crown Miss Sofia - seasons 2010.
