Continuing around the world with the most beautiful women, we come to Korea.
Yeah Korea gets a lot of press these days, but lets forget all the political stuff and just concentrate on it's beauty.
Specifically, the beautiful Korean women.
Most of these women are stars in Korea, but there are some that have achieved international fame.
So let's start off with South Korean actress, Lee Da Hae...
Lee Da Hae
South Korean actress and model Lee Da Hae was born Byun Da-hye on April 19, 1984 in South Korea .
She has appeared on Korean TV shows like Nang rang 18 seh, Geurin rojeu, Mai geol and East of Eden.
Besides appearing on Korean television, Lee released a Korean version of the 1975 Joan Jett & the Blackhearts hit, I Love Rock'n Roll.
Jun Ji-hyun
Jun Ji-hyun (also known as Gianna Jun) was born on October 30, 1981 in Seoul, South Korea.
After doing Korean TV, Jun made her big screen debut in the 1999 Korean romantic film White Valentine.
She went on to appear in Il Mare (later remade in Hollywood as The Lake House), My Sassy Girl (again later remade in the US as My Sassy Girl), The Uninvited, Windstruck, Daisy, A Man Who Was Superman and her latest film, 2009's Blood: The Last Vampire (she was listed as Gianna Jun in the credits).
Grace Park
Grace Park (or BoA...Beat of Angel) is a Korean singer that I did a Hub about already.
She was born on November 5, 1986 in Guri, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea.
Boa is active in South Korea, Japan, and the United States and is the only non-Japanese Asian to have two million-selling albums in Japan.
She has released twelve studio albums since her debut in 2000, and thirty three singles.
Boa Kwon
I love doing this entry, one because I am a huge Battlestar Galactica fan, and two because I just recently watched The Plan, so that re-fired my Galactica love.
Grace played Sharon Valerii (or Number Eight) on Battlestar Galactica.
Of course if you live in Canada, you may know Grace from as Shannon Ng from Edgemont or Liz Carver from The Border.
And if you play computer games, you may also know her as Lt. Sandra Telfair from Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars. (I still play the "old school" Command and Conquer...LOL)
Anyway, Grace was born on March 14, 1974 in Los Angeles, California.
Grace's first big screen role was in the 2000 martial arts film Romeo Must Die with Jet-Li and Aaliyah. Grace had a small role as an Asian Dancer.
Kim Tae-hee
South Korean actress Kim Tae-hee was born on March 29, 1980 in Ulsan, South Korea.
Kim has appeared in many Korean TV shows and movies.
Her film debut was a small role in the 2001 South Korean film, Last Present.
In 2002 she appeared in the short film New Citizen and made her television debut on Let's Go.
Her big break though came in the wildly popular 2003 TV series, Stairway to Heaven (no relation to the US series).
Besides TV and film, she has appeared in commercials for Samsung, LG and Olympus in Korea.
Kim is best friends with 2006 Miss Korea and 2007 Miss Universe 3rd Runner Up, Lee Ha-nui (Honey Lee).
Which brings us to our next entry.....
Lee Ha-nui (Honey Lee)
Lee Ha-nui was born on March 2, 1983 in Seoul, South Korea.
As I mentioned above, she was the 2006 Miss Korea and 2007 Miss Universe 3rd Runner Up.
By the way, Lee was kinda ripped off at the pageant and may have very well wound up being Miss Universe if she hadn't had a bad interpreter.
Like a lot of Beauty pageant winners, Honey has gone into acting.
She has hosted a TV show, appeared in a musical and starred in the law drama series The Partner.
Besides acting, she has modeled for Tommy Hilfiger Korea, DAKS and Vogue.
And I mentioned that Honey was good friends with Kim Tae-hee, she has a 3rd degree black belt in Taekwondo and when they were at Seoul National University, Honey was known as "Kim Tae Hee's Bodyguard".
Maybe I should have put her in my "Beautiful But Deadly " Hub!
Chae Rim
South Korean actress Park Chae-rim was born on March 28, 1979.
Chae made her television debut back in 1994 in the television series Warm River.
Since then she has appeared on over twenty TV series including Air Force, Journey and Suite Room. But she garnered a lot of attention for her role as Nicole Jin/Sun Mi in the 2000 TV series, All About Eve.
Chae has racked up several awards including the 1998: MBC New Actress Award, the 1999: MBC Popular Actress Award, the 2000: SBS Popular Actress Award, the 2006: Most Popular International Star, the 2007: Favorite Asian Star award and the 2007: KBS Top Excellence Acting Award.
