Cheerleaders bringing in cash for NFL teams

Cheerleaders bringing in cash for NFL teams
This year’s Super Bowl features the Green Bay Packers against the Pittsburgh Steelers. But there will be no cheerleaders. The Packers and the Steelers are just two of six teams (along with the Cleveland Browns, New York Giants, Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears) that don’t field a pom-pom waving squad.
Cheerleaders bringing in cash for NFL teams
Although their seasons are over, cheerleaders are an important part of the NFL off-season for the 26 teams that do have them. Why? Because, when executed well, they provide endless clicks for Web surfing fans and additional revenue in appearances (teams usually charge between $100 and $500 per hour per cheerleader) and swimsuit calendar revenue.

In fact, with plenty of women to audition and money to be had (most cheerleaders make less than $100 a game), the number of cheerleaders has increased exponentially in recent years.
Cheerleaders bringing in cash for NFL teams
In 2010, 15 teams each dressed more than 30 cheerleaders for games and have found ways, especially online, to generate revenue from their top squads. However, as valuations go, NFL teams are hesitant to put a dollar figure on their cheerleading squads, but the use of these cheerleaders as a vehicle for marketing is certainly in the public eye.
Cheerleaders bringing in cash for NFL teams
You probably expected to find the Dallas Cowboys on the top of this list, but no team has a more extensive of a library of cheerleader photos than the Indianapolis Colts. You can sort through over 2,000 shots that not only can be looked at, but also ordered. No other team in the league allows fans to do that.

The Colts are also the only team in the league to post a photo gallery of some of the favorites to join the squad next season. Fans can look at 65 candidates for the team and vote for who they think should join the team next.

Here is the ranking of the top teams that take the most monetary advantage of their cheerleaders.

the 100 Most Powerful and Influential celebrities in the world
Time 100 is an annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world, as assembled by Time. First published in 1999 as a result of a debate among several academics, the list has become an annual event. The list was started with a debate at a symposium at Washington, D.C.'s Kennedy Center on February 1, 1998 with panel participants CBS news anchor Dan Rather, historian Doris Kearns Goodwin, former New York governor Mario Cuomo, then-political science professor Condoleezza Rice, neoconservative publisher Irving Kristol and Time managing editor Walter Isaacson.
the 100 Most Powerful and Influential celebrities in the world
The list was first published in 1999, when Time magazine named the 100 most influential people of the 20th century. Based on the popularity of the installment, in 2004 Time magazine decided to make it an annual issue, listing the 100 people most influencing the world. Making the list is frequently mistaken as an honor; however, Time makes it very clear that people are recognized for changing the world, for better or for worse. Those recognized fall in one of five categories: Leaders & Revolutionaries, Builders & Titans, Artists & Entertainers, Scientists & Thinkers, and Heroes & Icons. Within each category, the 20 most influential people (sometimes pairs or small groups) are selected, for a grand total of 100 each year.

Adriana Francesca Lima (born June 12, 1981) is a Brazilian model, best known as a Victoria's Secret Angel since 2000, and as a spokesmodel for Maybelline cosmetics from 2003 to 2009. She is married to Serbian basketball player Marko Jarić.
Lima never thought about being a model, although she had won many beauty pageants in elementary school. However, Adriana Lima had a friend at school who wanted to enter a modeling contest and did not want to enter alone, so Lima entered with her. Both sent in pictures, and the contest sponsor soon asked Lima to come out for the competition. Soon after, at the age of 15, Adriana Lima entered and finished in first place in Ford's "Supermodel of Brazil" model search
Adriana Lima subsequently entered the 1996 Ford "Supermodel of the World" contest and finished in second place. Three years later, Lima moved to New York City and signed with Elite Model Management. After acquiring representation, Lima's modeling portfolio quickly began to expand, and Adriana Lima appeared in numerous international editions of Vogue and Marie Claire. As a runway model, Adriana Lima has walked the catwalks for designers such as Vera Wang, Christian Lacroix, Emanuel Ungaro, Giorgio Armani, Fendi, Ralph Lauren, and Valentino, among others. Lima became a GUESS? girl in 2000, appearing in that year's fall ad campaign. She also appeared in the book A Second Decade of Guess? Images.
Lima continued to build upon her portfolio, doing more print work for Maybelline, for whom Adriana Lima worked as a spokesmodel from 2003 until 2009, the same year she appeared in the company's first calendar, a limited edition run also featuring Kemp Muhl, Jessica White, Julia Stegner, and Anna Wang. Lima has also worked for notable fashion brands bebe, Mossimo, Armani, Bulgari, De Beers, FCUK, Intimissimi, Keds, Swatch, Versace, and BCBG. Entertainment Network and a July tour for the BioFit Uplift Bra launch, with stops in Long Island, Boston, and Miami Beach.

Lima was chosen to be a part of People magazine's 100 most beautiful people in the world list, sharing that space with the Angels, with whom she also received a star on the Hollywood "Walk of Fame" prior to the 2007 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. That same year, she ranked 7th on FHM's "100 Sexiest Women 2007" list
and was awarded as the "Hottest Girl on the Planet" at the first Spike TV Guys' Choice Awards, although the category was not mentioned in the actual broadcast. Lima was also voted on the Maxim "Hot 100" 2007 at the 53 spot. She was voted 1 as the Most Desirable Woman in 2005 by visitors of the men's lifestyle website, Askmen.com (Adriana Lima placed 4th in 2006 and 2007, 10th in 2008, and 19th in 2009). The Next Top Model American
Abigail Evelyn Titmuss, best known as Abi Titmuss, is a former English nurse turned glamour model, television personality and actress.

Abi Titmuss grew up in Heckington, Lincolnshire where her parents were teachers, and she took her A-levels at Kesteven and Sleaford High School where she played the clarinet.
The Next Top Model American
Abigail Evelyn Titmuss briefly dated cartoonist BP Perry before moving to Ruskington. Her parents divorced when she was 17, and her father moved to Argyll, Scotland, where he re-married. Her mother is secretary of Sleaford Museum trust.
The Next Top Model American
Titmuss graduated from City University in St Bartholomew's Hospital in 1998. Abigail Evelyn Titmuss did a nursing diploma because her A levels were not good enough to be a doctor, and became a staff nurse at London's University College Hospital.
The Next Top Model American
Titmuss had been dating TV presenter John Leslie since 1998, when in 2002 Ulrika Johnsson wrote in her autobiography that an unnamed television presenter had sexy assaulted her earlier in her television career.

Shortly afterwards, Matthew Wright named (apparently accidentally) John Leslie as the alleged perpetrator on his Five.tv television chat show The Wright Stuff. Titmuss was then resultantly brought into the media spotlight when photographed with Leslie returning from working a night shift, and after this point her picture appeared regularly in British newspapers. She was then photographed always supporting Leslie in his court case, dress demurely but stylishly in black, and waiting supportively in the background.

Shortly after Leslie was cleared, a private sexy tape featuring Titmuss and Leslie was released on the Internet. As speculation mounted, Titmuss abandoned her career as a nurse and became a glamour model. In her own words to Sunday Mirror:
