Minka Dumont Kelly (born June 24, 1980) is an American actress. She starred in the NBC series Friday Night Lights as Lyla Garrity from 2006 to 2009.

Kelly was born in Los Angeles, California. She is the only child of former Aerosmith guitarist Rick Dufay and Maureen Kelly, an exotic dancer and single mother who often moved with her daughter to different communities before settling in Albuquerque, New Mexico, by the time Minka was in junior high school.

Minka Kelly is of Irish and French descent. At 19, after graduating from high school, Kelly returned to Los Angeles.

While on a test shoot for a modeling agency, she was approached by a former Playboy Playmate interested in managing her, and who placed Kelly as a receptionist at a surgeon's office who would provide Kelly breast augmentation in exchange for hours worked.

Minka Kelly ultimately chose against the procedure, leading to her being fired. However, the exposure to the medical field prompted her to attend school for a year to become a surgeon's assistant; afterward, she worked as a scrub tech.

Minka Kelly spent four years in that vocation while also auditioning as an actress before landing the new NBC television drama Friday Night Lights, based on the high school football movie of that name. In the interim, she had small roles in movies and shows, including the film State's Evidence, and a recurring guest role on the TV sitcom What I Like About You. Kelly was the lead actor on the The CW's 2009 pilot Body Politic which did not go to series. Kelly was a member of the ensemble quartet that starred in the CBS comedy pilot True Love, playing Kate, a Midwestern girl who falls in love with Henry at the top of the Empire State Building, but was replaced by Sarah Chalke. Supermodel of the World (Ford Supermodel of the Year, formerly Face of the 80s) is an international modeling contest established by Eileen Ford in 1980. The contest showcases young fashion model entrants from over 50 countries in order to discover new talent for the fashion industry.

The winner of the international final event receives the industry's largest prize, a $250,000 modeling contract with Ford Models. The two runners up receive contracts of $150,000 and $100,000 respectively.

Janina Miller San Miguel (born November 14, 1990) is a Filipino beauty queen who was crowned Binibining Pilipinas World at the Binibining Pilipinas 2008 beauty pageant. She gained notoriety for her performance in the pageant's question and answer portion, where she lost her composure and gave an unfocused and rambling response with a thick accent. A video of the incident has garnered millions of views on websites such as YouTube.

San Miguel resigned her title in September 2008, citing personal reasons including the death of her grandfather. The title was transferred to first runner up Danielle Castaño, who went on to represent the country at the Miss World 2008 pageant.

China's Next Top Model, Cycle 2

China's Next Top Model (CNTM, in China and ChiNTM in fansites) is a Chinese reality TV series, based on the international version and spin-off to the original, America's Next Top Model.

The show was produced by Chinese television subscription channel Sichuan Satellite TV (zh:四川衛視)

and it is filmed in Shanghai, the casting was held in selected cities of China Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu, and Guangzhou. It began airing in January 9 and airs at 10:50 PM, presented by Chinese Supermodel Li Ai.

In the end, Meng Yao, 21, from Harbin, China's Next Top Model, Cycle 2 won the competition.

Biography Zooey Deschanel

Zooey Deschanel, born in Los Angeles, California, is the daughter of cinematographer/director Caleb Deschanel and actress Mary Jo Deschanel (née Weir).

She is of French (from her paternal grandfather) and Irish descent. She was named after Zooey Glass, the male protagonist of J. D. Salinger's 1961 novella Franny and Zooey. Her older sister, Emily Deschanel, is also an actress and stars in the TV series Bones.

 The Bold and the Beautiful is a television soap opera created by William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell for CBS.

Miss World Europe of Kaiane Aldorino

Kaiane Aldorino (born 8 July 1986) is a Gibraltarian beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Gibraltar 2009 and Miss World the same year in Johannesburg, South Africa.

She was the first Miss Gibraltar to ever reach the semifinals of the Miss World beauty pageant.

Aldorino was born in Gibraltar where she still resides. Prior to becoming Miss Gibraltar 2009, she had been working as a human resources clerk at St Bernard's Hospital in Gibraltar for five years.

As with most Gibraltarians she is bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish. She enjoys playing netball and training at the gym.

She has been a dancer since the age of 14 with Urban Dance Group, and has experience performing locally and abroad. She has performed in Gibraltar and Spain, and has trained in Modern, Hiphop, Contemporary and Commercial styles[citation needed]. The highlight of her dancing career, and an experience she has mentioned for many Miss World interviews, has been when she participated at the 2008 International Dance Organisation World Showdance Championships, in Riesa, Germany, where she represented Gibraltar in the Formation category as part of the Gibraltar National Dance Team. They obtained a 17th place, and made history by being the first time Gibraltar passed the first round, in the Formation category.

Aldorino made history on the 12 December 2009 by becoming the first ever Miss Gibraltar to be crowned Miss World.[1] She was also the first Gibraltarian contestant to have reached the beauty pageant's semifinals after receiving the title of Miss World Beach Beauty.

Shortly after Aldorino was crowned by her predecessor, Ksenia Sukhinova of Russia, Gibraltar burst into celebration as many Gibraltarians took to the streets. The masses waved the Flag of Gibraltar and chanted in jubilation as cars hooted their horns and fireworks were set off. Chief Minister of Gibraltar Peter Caruana hailed her win as a "wonderful achievement for her and for Gibraltar" and promised a "homecoming fit for a queen".

On 15 December 2009, the Government of Gibraltar announced Kaiane would be flown into Gibraltar from London on a private jet the following afternoon.

On 16 December 2009, the Government issued a press release in which it detailed the events that would take place upon Kaiane's arrival. These included a public greeting at Gibraltar Airport a parade through Main Street, where Kaiane would ride in the same open-top car as Diana, Princess of Wales and Prince Charles during their honeymoon visit to Gibraltar.

On 17 December 2009 Gibraltar came to a standstill as she paraded down Main Street preceded by the band of the Royal Gibraltar Regiment and then appeared at the City Hall balcony. This was followed by a press conference and reception at the Rock Hotel. The celebrations culminated with a fireworks display from Gibraltar Harbour. The government also requested all businesses in Gibraltar who were reasonably able to do so to close between 4pm and 6pm on this day to allow their staff to take part in the welcoming celebrations.

Michelle Christine Trachtenberg (born October 11, 1985) is an American television and film actress. She is known for her roles as Dawn Summers in the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and as Georgina Sparks in Gossip Girl. She has also appeared in the films Harriet the Spy, Ice Princess, EuroTripand 17 Again.

Trachtenberg made her first television appearance at the age of three, in a commercial for Wisk Detergent. She went on to feature in over 100 more commercials. Miss Sofia - Winter 2010

Several days ago 15 beauties participated in the contest Miss Sofia - Winter 2010 in beautiful youth toilets of boutique WOMAN MONRO with designer Milena Tsoncheva and the prom dresses of atelier SIMON with designer Gergana Simeonova. Delfina specially made swimsuits in red for the contest and they were combined with Christmas hats to remind the holiday approach.

Marchela Mincheva is the third runner-up, the second is Gergana Chakarova, the first runner-up is Ana Maria from Sofia. Miss Sofia - Winter became Lilia Teterekova. All they received a lot of presents.

 The show was led by the top models Gergana Doncheva, Jasmina Toshkova and Rayna Naldjieva.

This is the first from several contests - Miss Sofia - winter, spring, summer, autumn and the final contest will gather all winners and will crown Miss Sofia - seasons 2010.

The Beauty Miss World Pooja Chopra

 Tired of answering questions about joining Bollywood, Miss India World Pooja Chopra has only the Miss World competition on her mind which she says is taking up all her time and concentration.

"I am tired of answering this question. I can't tell you how busy I am with Miss World preparations. It demands full concentration and at this moment winning the crown holds top priority in my life," Pooja Chopra told IANS on the sidelines of an event here.

This year the Miss World contest will take place in South Africa, and Pooja Chopra says that her preparations for the contest are going on in full swing.

"I start my day at 5.30 a.m. and after a hectic daily schedule I try to hit the bed by 11.00 p.m. I devote equal time to gym, diction, catwalk classes and my daily sessions with the dietician. Apart from this if I have to go to some event, and then things become very hectic," Pooja Chopra said.

 Elaborating on her preparations, the leggy lass said that the preparations for the international pageant were "very different" from those for Miss India.

 "There is a stark difference between the two. The reason is that at the Miss World contest I will be competing with 120 girls from different countries and international standards are to be followed, which means I have to pay extra effort in diction, catwalk and current affairs," Pooja Chopra said.

 "The most important thing is that I would be representing India whereas when I participated in Miss India contest I was simply Pooja Chopra. There lays the major difference," she added.

Pooja Chopra is confident of her victory and said that she is giving her 100 percent. And if the nation prays for her victory, she might bring back the crown.
"All I want is support from everyone. Just pray for me," Pooja Chopra said.
Last year, Parvathy Omanakuttan was the first runner-up in Miss World. Reita Faria (1966) was the first Indian to win this crown and after that Aishwarya Rai (1994), Yukta Mukhi (1999), Priyanka Chopra (2000) achieved success.
